What this website collects

This is a marketing and enquiry website. It does not run user accounts, comments, advertising or analytics tracking.

The only personal information collected is what you voluntarily submit through the enquiry form:

• Your name, email address and phone number (if supplied)
• Your answers to the guided questions: your trade, what you already have, and what you are looking for
• Anything you add in the notes field, such as project details or links to your work

Basic technical information

Like most websites, the hosting server keeps standard technical logs, which can include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting, and are retained by the hosting provider under its own practices.

The enquiry form also uses standard security measures (a session token, a hidden spam-check field and basic rate limiting). These use a temporary browser session and no long-term tracking identifiers.

Why the information is collected

Enquiry details are collected for one purpose: to read your enquiry and respond to it. That includes asking follow-up questions, preparing a quote or scope for a website project, and delivering the services you eventually request.

How enquiries are handled

When you submit the enquiry form, its contents are sent by email to hello@idesignstuff.ca, the Site Sorted contact address. Enquiries are read and answered by the person behind Site Sorted — not routed through a call centre, sales team or automated follow-up system.

Security

The form runs over HTTPS and includes server-side validation and standard anti-spam protections. No system on ordinary shared hosting can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but reasonable measures are in place, and no more information is collected than the enquiry needs.

Retention

Enquiry emails are kept only as long as they are useful: typically while discussing a potential project, and longer if we end up working together (so project context is not lost). Old enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted periodically.

Service providers

This website is hosted by a commercial hosting provider, and enquiry email is delivered through standard email service. Those providers process data only as needed to host the site and deliver email. Personal information is not sold, rented or traded, and is not used for advertising.

Your choices

If you have submitted an enquiry and would like it deleted, or you have questions about anything here, email hello@idesignstuff.ca and it will be looked after.

Changes to this policy

If how this website handles information ever changes, this page will be updated to describe it.
